President's Welcome Welcome to the Agua Fria Foundation website! The Agua Fria Foundation continues to “make a difference” in the Agua Fria Union High School District. Since its inception in 1981, the Foundation has promoted the mission of the district which is to have all students college ready by providing an outstanding learning environment rich in cultural diversity and academic excellence. In light of the harsh budget situation facing Arizona schools today, the grants we fund (more than $10,000 each year) allow projects, technologies and programs to take place that otherwise would not. The commitment and involvement of our Board members are the keys to the successes the Foundation has seen to date. Our students today are our future leaders. They will be the ones who will continue the progress our country has made. We all prosper when we invest in quality education. We welcome and appreciate any monetary or in-kind support that will help us to continue to “make a difference.” Thank you for your interest in the Agua Fria Foundation. Superintendent's Welcome Welcome Community Members and Business Partners, There are few relationships that are more important to the learning process than that of the teachers and their students. The Agua Fria Union High School District teachers are truly at the center of our success as a learning community. The primary goal of the Agua Fria Foundation is to provide our teachers and staff grants for innovative instruction that aligns with the district’s curricular goals. For the past 20 years, the projects funded by the Foundation have provided added value to the classroom experiences enabling students to become “college and career ready.”
